MEXICO
There are many fabulous features that entice travellers to Mexico: its
massive capital city, a crazy nightlife, incredible
beaches from the touristy Cancun to the most remote beach paradises,
and its amazing Aztec history. Accompanying it all are the subtle spices
of Mexico's famous tortillas, tamales and enchiladas, washed down with
bold red wines and potent tequila and mescal. Mexico is truly a blend
of cultures and customs, a place where history comes alive and beauty
is second nature.
The Mexican people are friendly and proud. As a foreign
teacher, you will be welcomed into their homes,
taken out to eat and to party! Your students
will quickly become your friends. Many Teach International graduates
have ventured into this fascinating country and found love... and even
marriage!
Mexico boasts the strongest and most vibrant
ESL market in Latin America. Opportunities are
many and in diverse areas: children, business,
private language schools and primary/secondary
schools as well.
Salaries in Mexico range between AU$600-1500 / NZ$680-1700
/ CA$500-1300 and visa sponsorship and accommodation are often arranged,
sometimes free of charge. And don't forget about the potential spouse!
