Information Session Presenter - Canberra (Casual)

Teach International is a Registered Training Organisation and an industry leader in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) training and overseas teaching recruitment. We run Certificate courses in major locations around Australia and help 'everyday' people achieve their dreams of living and working overseas by providing them with a practical course that will enable them to find teaching work around the world.
A casual information session presenter position has become available in our Canberra operation, and involves promoting our courses through public information sessions each fortnight.
We are looking for someone who loves to travel, has preferably lived and worked overseas, or perhaps taught English overseas, and who is a confident public speaker. This casual position would suit a very reliable person looking for a fun part-time income.
Details:
- Information sessions - 3 hours maximum every two weeks (usually Mondays 5-8pm approx)
- $80 per 3 hr session
- Additional commission paid per registration
At minimum, applicants should have the following attributes:
- excellent public speaking skills and confidence
- good presentation
- ability to relate to people from all backgrounds
- overseas travel and/or teaching experience
- some sales and presentation skills would be highly advantageous
Teach International will provide the following:
- Paid training to be our Canberra presenter
- Possibility of free Cert IV TESOL training for 12 month commitment
